Mount Escape Against “Prayer Feet”: Here’s How To Do It

The Mount is the second-most dominant position you could get to in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. But it can also be extremely difficult to transition into. Namely, when you get to Side Control or Half Guard, your training partners will do everything they can, not just to escape – but also to prevent you from establishing Mount.

There are a lot of things that your opponent can do from Mount to make your life miserable… And one of them is making your escapes more difficult, by clasping his feet together in a sort of a “prayer feet” position.

However, getting rid of the “prayer feet” is not complicated at all!
