In this video, Rob Biernacki and Stephan Kesting demonstrate what they believe to be the best leglock position.
Biernacki starts from a standard ashi position. He then moves back and allows the foot to pop free but he maintains pressure on the leg. He then covers the foot right away, pops his foot, and moves it to the other side.
From there, he can attempt a reverse heel hook or transition into a 411 for a more controlled position.
Biernacki and Kesting also troubleshoot some of the main problems that can happen while trying to perform this leglock.
