In Jiu-Jitsu, there’s one training partner who’s vital to your development but who often goes neglected.

Besides the various exercises against the wall, to get more edge on your guard, you can use a training dummy to sharpen up your skills on your own.

JIU-JITSU AND THE BERIMBOLO IN PRACTICE

As two-time world champion Rafael Mendes demonstrates, you can use one to gain dexterity no matter what the position. Watch and learn the “dummybolo” that, joking aside, is great in helping to understand how the berimbolo counter-attack works.
