The 2012 Pan-American Jiu-Jitsu Championship is already going full steam in Irvine, California. In the colored-belt groups the future of gentle-art competition is already bubbling to the top, and the black belts will see action this Saturday. Our GMA Rubens Charles “Cobrinha” put together one of those hard-to-beat training camps at his Los Angeles academy alongside two-time world champion (2003/04) Mário Reis. The Alliance aces are solid candidates to score some medals in the featherweight division, not to mention that they’ll be bringing a cheering section all their own with them to the Bren Events Center.

“The idea was to do specific training with new positions, without forgetting to review the old ones,” explained Mário Reis.
