Work out hard with the traditional bar

For those who like working out in the outdoors, bars are a great option for exercise, like doing pushups and dips on parallel bars. However, even for those who prefer modern equipment in gyms, exercising on the bars are excellent. For Jiu-Jitsu players, for example, they’re always a good complement to training.

GRACIEMAG columnist Martin Rooney often demonstrates optimal options for working out using body weight for maximum load. They are basic exercises using equipment found at any beach or town square, but which make all the difference.
