Tye and Kade Ruotolo are among the very best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athletes in the world.
Their fast, explosive, and detail-precise style is a pleasure to watch in every match.
So, it’s no wonder that the audience would like to see a match between the two brothers as well!
In a recent interview for the MMA Superfan, Tye said that he’s more than open to competing against his brother.
In fact, he’s looking forward to it. Though, the timing has to be right first:
Fighting my brother would be crazy.
I don’t know if it’s going to happen at 170. It definitely could. We got to find the right time. I think we got to mark it.
Plus, fighting his brother on the ONE Championship stage wouldn’t be easy for Tye, but it’d be exciting nevertheless:
It’s not easy fighting your brother on a stage like that all the time. We’ve done it before but that’s a big stage.
I don’t know if he’ll get saltier than normal.
But I’m really excited to see that match again.
Additionally, Tye Ruotolo would like to compete at a higher weight class than he competes at now.
Simply because he doesn’t like cutting weight:
There’s a lot of good guys around the 190 to 200-pound weight class. Creating one for that would be convenient for me.
I don’t like cutting weight too much.
