The double ankle sweep is a basic sweep against a standing opponent. If they mistakenly set their feet close together where you can reach them, it’s not a terribly difficult sweep to pull off, but most beginners learn to just take the mount.
In this video, black belt Alberto Serrano shows a smooth transition to a belly down arm bar once the sweep is compete. He breaks it down and gives you the opportunity to study the move. Timing is everything, but this is definitely worth adding to your repertoire.
