Interesting BJJ Drill: “Don’t Lose Your Balls”

You know the saying: „Guard recovery – you can never be too good at it.“ Well okay, okay. It isn’t exactly a saying… But it should be, because your guard recovery will determine a lot of your success on the mats; both offensively and defensively alike.

This is why you need to have a trick or two up your sleeve for when the opponent is extremely close to passing your guard.

Yeah, we know what you’re thinking… Not those balls.
There’s no BJJ drill that involves actively trying to save them (okay, other than maybe when defending against the Knee Slice Pass).

This drill however, shown by Kennet Ekelund Waale, is going to reinforce your ability to stay tight and escape Mount.
