Defending Headbutts From The Close Guard

In the early days of mixed martial arts, head butts were successfully utilized to break an opponent’s guard and face. Headbutts can be both quick and violent and result in both facial fractures and knockouts. While the move has been banned from MMA, there are no rules in self-defense situations.
