Atos athlete Adam Bradley had everyone wondering how he did that when he won his first-round match at SubSpectrum 6 with a shoulder lock he calls the “Scorpion Death Lock.”
Here, Bradley demonstrates how he recommends landing this submission when you’re competing. Check it out!
SCORPION DEATH LOCK INSTRUCTIONAL A simple and sneaky submission. Using their arm (Pinky Up) across my body and my near leg across their hips for body control allows for a powerful Hip-Thrust motion to attack the elbow & shoulder in a similar fashion to a Mir-Lock or Americana. My Lats pinch their hand in place, my Hands pull up on their elbow and my Hips follow through to separate their elbow/shoulder from their body.
