Former WWE and current TNA Impact wrestler and personality Montel Vontavious Porter or “MVP” for short, has entered the 2015 IBJJF Masters Worlds events scheduled for September 25th and 26th in Las Vegas. Wrestlezone.com has reported MVP has entered the event under his real name Hassan Hamin Assad and will be representing Gracie Barra Texas in the Blue Belt, Masters 3, Ultra Heavyweight division.

Prior to starting his WWE career in 2006, MVP served 9.5 years of an 18.5 year sentence for armed robbery and kidnapping. After his release from prison, he trained to be a professional wrestler under the tutelage of former WCW wrestler and current NXT trainer, Norman Smiley.
