Why You Shouldn’t Mess With A Jiu Jitsu Instructor

On November 2, 2015, Professor Daniel Wanderley, who is the chief Brazilian jiu jitsu coach at Roufusport, and a third degree jiu jitsu black belt, got into a fight with his neighbor in Milwaukee, WI. Reportedly, his neighbor attacked him with an ashtray, so he used jiu jitsu to protect himself. His other neighbor took a photo of the incident, which Wanderley posted on his Facebook page. The photo shows Wanderley restraining his neighbor on the ground, while he waits for law enforcement to arrive. Wanderley has taught jiu jitsu at the Carlson Gracie academy since 2006.
