The fiesty fighter who never rides the elevator Frankie Edgar will take on Gray Maynard next Saturday at UFC 136. The last time they met, Edgar, the champion, was nearly knocked out in the first round but recovered to ride out the rest of the five-round affair for a draw.
The final part of the trilogy was supposed to have taken place at UFC 130, but both were injured, and the bout was postponed. The only loss on Edgar’s ledger was to the very Maynard at UFN 13. Will the lightweight kingpin manage to hang on to his title once again?
