UFC 137 fighter calls up Brazilian black belt to train with

The brother of two-time world championship-winning black belt Daniel Moraes, Diego Moraes is heading to traine with UFC fighter Scott “Young Gun” Jorgenson, according to our collaborator Diego marcello. The invitation arose after Scott trained with Diego at Nova União academy and at Jardim Guanabara club on the week of UFC Rio last August.

Moraes can already be found at Jorgensen’s (12w, 4l) academy in Boise, Idaho, USA. The Rio de Janeiro native thus follows his famous brother’s footsteps and those of training partner Fabio Pateta, who coach stars like Alan Belcher and Urijah Faber, respectively.

Diego will help Scott train for his upcoming fight at UFC 137 late this month, when he faces Jeff Curran. Another who is likely to show up to train Jiu-Jitsu at the American fighter’s behest is former Bellator featherweight champion Joe Warren.
