And now, a part of surfaced video footage seems to show the famous entrepreneur arguing with the referee.
The video shows Zuckerberg in bottom Closed Guard, with the referee suddenly stepping in at one moment.
Apparently, the referee thought that the Meta CEO tapped out. He stops the match and raises Zuckerberg’s opponent’s arm in victory.
The entrepreneur is seen arguing with the referee throughout and talking to his opponent after, which – as reported by Sportskeeda – in the end resulted with the referee overturning the call and the bout being declared a draw.
Be it as it may be, Claudio França – one of the pioneers of Jiu-Jitsu in the United States and the tournament organizer – had nothing but kind words for the famous white belt:

Mark was courteous, polite and we managed to convey a positive image of Jiu-Jitsu.
He loved the experience of feeling the energy of the first competition.
