It can be super-annoying when an opponent turtles up, especially if they are bigger and heavier, making it difficult to move them.Well, the guys at Big Guy BJJ have given us a new option to flip the turtle onto its back.
Though not mentioned in the video, it’s very important to keep your arm (the one controlling the belt) close to your body as you sit down to the side. This uses your weight and momentum to flip them over. When a person turtles, they often leave their hips high and light, making this an easy option to go to. Try it out and let us know what you think!
