Pure Victory is essentially Tristar jiu-jitsu coach Firas Zahabi’s giant middle finger to the ridiculous new law in Montreal banning jiu-jitsu tournaments.
The rules are simple — one could say, they are “pure” — you roll until one person taps. There are no judges and no advantages. Matches can last however long they take — an entire day if need be. The only way you can win is to make your opponent submit.
Here is the first episode of Pure. The match is between Pierre-Olivier and Donald. The winner gets $100 worth of Bitcoin.
