Yes, you’ve read that well… Nate Diaz is entering the promotion game!
As per MMA Fighting, one of the most successful UFC athletes of all time will soon apply for a promoter’s license, in order to form his own promotion – Real Fight, Inc.
With the tagline “Real Ninjas. Real Fighters. Real Sh*t.”, Diaz’s promotion will not promote just mixed martial arts (MMA); but will also bring Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and boxing to the frontline.
Team Diaz issued a full statement about the endeavor:
Nate will be applying for his promotors license in the coming weeks to form Real Fight, Inc., a new promotion that will focus on promoting combat sports shows, specifically boxing, MMA and BJJ.
The new venture has no bearing on his status as a fighter, where he will continue to be very active. Real Fight, Inc. is his expansion into the business side of the sport where he has been a fixture for close to 20 years.
The promotion will look attract fighters from around the world, whether it be up and coming prospects or household names who fit the brand of “Real Ninjas. Real Fighters. Real Sh*t.”

Nate, who is 37 years old, will face Khamzat Chimaev on September 10, as a part of the UFC 279 headline. This fight will be the last one on the popular fighter’s UFC contract.
