Musumeci Siblings Moving From AOJ To Caio Terra Association

Despite their youth, Tammi and Mikey Musumeci have both established themselves as being among the best in the sport of Jiu-jitsu. Theirs have been a colorful journey which is now taking another unexpected turn. Caio Terra Broke the news on his facebook Live Video that the siblings are moving to CTA

The siblings used to train with American Top Team. They then moved to ATOS where they saw great success in their respective divisions. Tammi became the world no-gi champion in 2013 and 2015. She won the 2014 Pan championship as well. Mikey, on the other hand, was able to become the 2016 Pan black belt champion. Previous to this, he won the IBJJF Worlds for blue, purple and brown belts as well.

This remarkable duo hails from New Jersey but their family has moved around the country, first to Florida and then to Henderson, Nevada. They also have big goals for their professional careers. Tammi will soon to tackling law school while Mikey is currently completing his business major.

Musumeci Siblings told FloGrappling this move will be their last. It was a personal decision born from a desire to be in an environment which fits their goals at this time. They made it clear that they appreciate their old teams and that this is merely part of what feels like the natural course of their journey. For his part, Caio Terra was elated with the decision and is excited to work with the siblings.
