MMA Fighter Goes For Takedown But Knocks Himself Out Cold

Every UFC fighter wants to become the best of the best and they will try their hardest to become the number one fighter. Throughout the history of UFC fighting, there have been certain instances in which the fighter did indeed knock himself out. Fights such as that of Gray Maynard and Rob Emerson. This specific fight was pretty strange because it was over when Maynard went for the slam takedown, which not only injured Emerson, but also rocked Maynard when his head hit the canvas. At the end of that fight they were both ruled unable to continue and it was ruled a no contest.
