Gardner was fighting Japanese MMA legend Shinya Aoki when Aoki was able to get his back when the bout his the ground. Then this MMA fighter makes a mistake, gets choked out after waving to the crowd while Aoki had his back. There is nothing wrong at all with an MMA fighter acknowledging the fans, but this fight did it at the wrong time against a very dangerous opponent.
