What does a “good gym” mean to you, when it comes to training Jiu-Jitsu?
What sort of people train there?
Well, for Mikey Musumeci, training in a good gym means being surrounded by people who don’t have a big ego.
He shared his thoughts in a recent Reddit Ask Me Anything (AMA) thread:
A good gym for me is a group of people that don’t have a huge ego.
They are making jokes; a family environment where everyone is having fun, and when you finish training you feel the training passed by in 2 seconds, not when you are training you feel it takes 10 hours.
Mikey also said that he has aspirations to compete in MMA in the future…
But not for too long of a time period:
I did Muay Thai over 7 years as a kid, but i would have to relearn a lot.
I am 26 now so I have so many years to study and learn Muay Thai again.Definitely would love to do MMA, but only for a limited time so I don’t get too much CTE hahaha.
And yes… He revealed that the match against Demetrious “The Mighty Mouse” Johnson will soon take place!
If I win this next match in May I believe its all set to happen! Mighty Mouse already agreed also!
