The Marcelo Garcia vs Rafael Lovato Jr. fight showed us the pure talent and technically skill Garcia has to call on. He started off the match aggressively by going for Lavato’s legs and just a few moments later he had Lavato in a strong leg hold. With that hold he got control of the match and he just kept going from there.
During the match he demonstrated defending an arm lock with an arm lock of his own, a tricky move. He had good transitions and top control throughout the whole fight. Garcia showed us why he is one of the best submission grapplers in the world.
