BJJ World Champion and undefeated Legacy Fighting Alliance mixed martial artist Mackenzie Dern is moving to Invicta FC.
Dern announced the news on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, stating that she will be fighting in the strawweight division against Kaline Medeiros.
“So, I scheduled the next fight, I’m going to fight again, so I hope I can go to 5-0, and this time will be with Invicta on December 8, so I’m real excited about it…” she told Helwani.
Dern is currently 4-0 in MMA. Half of those wins have come by way of submission.
Kaline Medeiros — who, at 38-year-old is 14 years Mackenzie’s senior — has an 8-5 record. Her last fight was last year at Invicta 20, where she lost via unanimous decision to Angela Hill. Before that loss, though, she rode an 8-fight win streak.
