Conor McGregor Off Of UFC 219 After Bellator Ref Fighting

It’s been slightly over a year since the UFC Lightweight Champion “The Notorious” Conor McGregor has set foot inside of the cage, and sadly, it’s going to be even longer.

That’s because the UFC is not pleased with The Notorious’ cage jumping, ref-fighting stunt at Bellator last week.

Conor McGregor Jumps Inside Bellator Cage And Goes Crazy On The Ref

At last Friday’s Bellator 187, McGregor jumped into the cage in order to congratulate his teammate, Charlie Ward. Referee Marc Goddard jumped in between the two. Conor obviously did not appreciate the referee’s action and began shoving him.

Putting your hands on referee is a serious offense in the mixed martial arts word, apparently even for to fighters like Conor McGregor.
