Choking people out with their own clothes never gets old. In this brief video, instructor Jake Propst of Consecution Jiu-Jitsu in Ohio demonstrates two collar chokes that are great for both white belts and advanced practitioners alike. Both submissions have you start out from the closed guard, so if you prefer to work off your back, these might be just what you need to finish a match early and win gold at your next tournament.
Give them a try, drill until you can’t get them wrong, and then whip them out on your training partners in practice!
