Brazilian jiu-jitsu is indeed for everyone, and this blind 53-year-old white belt proves it.
In this video posted by allenspindel on Youtube, a blind, 53-year-old grappler prepares for a competition he will be grappling in this September.
In my Brazilian jiu-jitsu training, I’ve encountered many people, even as young as 30 years old, worried that they are too old to get involved in BJJ. They tell me that they don’t want to be the “old guy/gal” holding all of the 20-somethings back.
If you’ve encountered similarly-minded people, please show them this video.
