One of the biggest changes I made upon becoming a blue belt was learning to relax when I was in a tough situation. As a white belt, I would freak out, kick, and buck wildly when I couldn’t get out of a hard situation. I can’t count how many partners I accidentally elbowed and lost because I was such a spaz.
I sure could have used this video three years ago.
