Just when you thought that the UFC 285 ceremonial weigh-ins couldn’t haven’t gotten better, you get proven wrong.
After Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane faced off for the last time before their fight, Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal appeared on stage – and stepped on the scale!
Then, he faced the UFC veteran Jay Hieron… And slapped him, as Dana White separated the two.
It was all a part of a movie scene, of course. Namely, after the UFC 285 weigh-ins were finished, Conor McGregor stepped on stage to inform the audience that they’ll be a part of the movie that he is starring in:

McGregor will be acting alongside Gyllenhaal in a Patrick Swayze-starring 1989 classic, Road House. Gyllenhaal will be the main actor, starring as a former UFC fighter who becomes a bouncer in a Florida Keys bar.
So, the scene that was filmed at the weigh-ins actually reperesents the Hollywood star’s face off at a fictional UFC 222 event.
The role of “The Notorious” remains unknown so far however, though according to reports he will play an original character.
