The spider-guard is one of Jiu-Jitsu’s showier and trickier moves, and there are plenty of maneuvers to do with it as a starting point. Guilherme Caju, a Saulo Ribeiro black belt, does a demonstration of what he has termed the “twister,” exclusively for GRACIEMAG.com.
With both grips sunk and a foot on the bicep, the trick here is to tuck a leg and your opponent’s arm inwards and extend the other leg to create the spin motion.
Give it a watch, and only practice it under the supervision of a qualified Jiu-Jitsu instructor.
