A fight between One FC competitors Dae Hwan Kim and Masakazu Imanari (yes, the namesake of the Imanari roll), drew attention earlier today both for the antics of both fighters and a slick heel hook attempt from Imanari himself.
With a minute left in the second round, Imanari dropped to the ground and started “butt scooting” towards his opponent. In response, Kim turned around and stuck his own butt out at Imanari before the fighters once again resumed their battle.
As the fight started coming to a close, Imanari secured a heel hook on Kim, but Kim was able to escape and come back with a series of punches as Imanari turtled up.
In the end, the judges awarded the fight to Kim via unanimous decision.
