Cyborg: “It’s one of my trademarks”

Cyborg in photo by John Lamonica: fine form and unprecedented chokes

Is there such thing as an ugly submission? To black belt Roberto “Cyborg” Abreu, there isn’t.

The winner of the absolute division at last Saturday’s Miami Open submitted Stephen Hall twice, once with a knee on belly, and the other by sticking his “little foot” into his opponent’s neck.

The teacher at The Avengers commented on the move to GRACIEMAG.com today.

“I’ve been doing that one for a long time; I’ve done it in a number of tournaments and it’s surely one of my trademarks,” says Cyborg. “All I can say is there’s a lot of pressure behind it!”

Check out Roberto using the move back in 2006 against Bruno Triângulo (Gracie Barra) in Mato Grosso do Sul.
