We see a lot of instances involving cops and suspects in which one party or the other ends up seriously injured or worse because the police officer didn’t know how to safely control the suspect. But thankfully, that’s not always the case.
In this video, a police officer and BJJ Black Belt is seen holding down a suspect in mount and controlling his arms until reinforcements arrive. Thanks to the officer’s knowledge of how to control an opponent, deadly force was fortunately not used in this encounter.
