It’s now official: two more Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athletes have signed contracts with ONE Championship!
BJJ world champions Thalison Soares and Lucas Pinheiro recently put the pen to paper.
According to ONE, the Brazilian Pair will most likely enter ONE Championship’s flyweight submission grappling division – thus being potential title challengers to Mikey Musumeci.

Thalison Soares represents the Art of Jiu Jitsu team, under Rafael and Guilherme Mendes.
Even though he is only 24 years old, he proved himself as one of the most elite BJJ athletes; winning the IBJJF World Championships at every level, as well as many other titles and medals.
In 2023, he tried to defend the IBJJF World Championship title from the year prior – but came up short against none other than Lucas Pinheiro in the final match.

The 29-year-old won his first black belt world title back in December 2022, when he won the IBJJF No-Gi World Championship gold medal.
His most recent success at the same level came in June 2023, by winning the IBJJF World Championship in the gi.
We’re set for some amazing ONE Championship matches!
