Most of us have experienced a lack of intensity in relation to our MMA and BJJ training. Sometimes you know why and other times not so much.
I recently received a question from someone who won an MMA fight in front of a home crowd of 1500 people by 1st round Guillotine choke.
And he says that leading up to the fight he had a fight camp and felt the best he ever has.
But the problem is that after the MMA fight he has experienced this downward tick in his training. All of his training is suffering. His BJJ, Boxing, Kickboxing, Cardio. . . all of it.
And he’s wondering how to recapture the intensity he needs.
In this video which isn’t necessarily BJJ related, but it can be applied all the same, I talk about go with the wave and respecting your body. Using intensity when it’s there but recognizing when your body is pulling back.
Hopefully if you’re having trouble with intensity in relation to your BJJ, MMA or any sort of training, this video will be helpful to you!
