The baseball bat choke is pretty common in jiu-jitsu, but lots of people only know how to start working on it once they have the top position. In this video, coach Andrew Pardee of Pride Lands BJJ in Weirton, West Virginia shows us how to work our way into the submission from half-guard bottom. You’ll eventually end up on top, but this is a great technique for anyone who likes to play guard and, you know, choke people.
