While there are very dedicated jiu-jitsu practitioners out there who train multiple times a day, every day, many more of us are more of the “hobbyist” variety, training 2-4 times per week and rarely more than once per day.
This is what professional freediving instructor and BJJ practitioner Marcus Greatwood has been doing for some time now, but recently, he decided to take his training to the next level. When Greatwood originally started training jiu-jitsu, he was doing one class per week — a routine that amounted to him doing 52 classes total per year. So, he wondered, what would happen if he did that many classes in just one month?
Check out his journey below if you’ve been considering amping up your own training routine!
