The Long Beach Pyramid in California will host Samurai Pro Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The event with MMA and ADCC star Fabrício Werum among its organizers, will take place May 8 and hand out a total of 30 thousand dollars to the winners.

There will be two tournaments: one for white to brown belts and the other pro, with black belts. The winners of the white to brown belt absolute divisions will win cash prizes, as will the winners of the five black belt weight divisions. Werdum is excited about it:

“I’m pleased to be a part of this great event. With this money up for grabs, I certain it will be one of the best competitions of the year,” he remarks.

Sign-ups go till May 3 and can be performed on the www.samuraijjpro.com website.
