As if one invitation to the prestigious ADCC event in Beijing, China on October 19-20 wasn’t enough, Team Lovato gained four separate spots. Lead by American black belt world champion Rafael Lovato Jr., the group of athletes train together at the Oklahoma City academy to be ready for the no-gi international championship that only comes around every other year.
Alongside Lovato who will be competing in the -88kg division will be his first black belt Justin Rader in the -66kg division, another one of his black belts James Puopolo in the -99kg and purple belt Jared Dopp in the +99kg division.
