On the coming 17th of March, Brazil’s Max Fight promotion will hold a heavily anticipated welterweight title fight between the tough-as-nails Cassiano Tytschyo and Lyoto Machida’s sparring partner Zezão Trator. But there’s a bantamweight fight on the card that very well may steal the show:
The runner-up in the World Muay Thai Federation and holder of a record of 55 wins and 15 losses in Thai boxing, Team Nogueira revelation Sheymon Moraes will be making his MMA debut against another promising up-and-comer, “Pelé” Richards (1w, 0l), who made a smooth transition from amateur to professional MMA.
Training at the Nogueira brothers’ team for four years, Sheymon, 21, guarantees he’s in tip-top shape and relaxed about making his debut.
TRANQUILITY, WRESTLING AND JIU-JITSU
“I’m training with a great group, and that’s why I’m relaxed. I’ve been putting more emphasis on wrestling with Eric Albarracin and Jiu-Jitsu with Everaldo Penco,” said Moraes, adding that he has also been working on cage movement with Bruno “Caveira” and doing physical conditioning with Diogo Souza.
