The Abu Dhabi World Pro Jiu Jitsu Championships (ADWPJJC) are well under way and are featuring some phenomenal bouts. Most recently, it was Mica Galvao – the 18 year old phenom – who earned one of the most impressive wins in his career; submitting Levi Jones-Leary in under 2 minutes.
He posted the entire match on his Instagram account:

Mica Galvao was proud of his achievement and the progress he’s making in his BJJ game, as it’s visible by the description of his post (translated from Portuguese):
I keep building my story.
On Tuesday I fought and won the Brazilian trials that entitles a Brazilian to participate in the World Pro. The trials alone are already a world championship. I did several fights in an environment full of thick skins but thank God I managed to win my spot.
Today, inside the World Pro, I had three more matches, some of them against well-known athletes; and luckily I submitted all of them. With today’s victories I won the right to go to the final tomorrow to dispute the ten thousand dollar prize, but mainly I became the YOUNGEST BLACK BELT IN HISTORY to participate in the event. Thank you very much @ajptour for the opportunity. I feel blessed to have my belt recognized by you guys and to be able to write another page in the history of the sport.
I live in a very special moment and I feel totally prepared for this responsibility. May your will be done tomorrow, AMEN.
