With gates closed, last Saturday UFC Brasília made history as the UFC’s first-ever event without an audience. But the fighters made sure to do their part, with the main event being a good example.
Charles do Bronx entered the cage with clearly better chances than Kevin Lee, working more competently on his feet and launching an overwhelming number of ground attacks. The American wrestler was avoiding the worst of it and even made some headway in the second round, but Charles decided the match in round three.
After a single-leg entry by Lee, Charles didn’t think twice and employed a guillotine — a move he had used a few times before to claim wins in the UFC. With a solid grip and moving down to the ground, Charles clinched the win.
