The leader of Thunder Martial Arts, in Rio de Janeiro, black-belt Vinicius Gimenes brings you another option from the guard to finish, this time in no-gi.
In this lesson, he shows how to advance from the inverted de la Riva to the legs. The spin begins with the hook like a berimbolo — not forgetting to always have the foot outside the hook on your opponent’s chest. After spinning, Vinicius wraps his opponent’s leg and puts that opponent’s leg under his armpit to create the lever and finish quickly.
