Proving that he can hold his own as a fighter, MMA TV this week released a video of Russian president Vladimir Putin on the mat, sparing against members of Russia’s national wrestling team.
A little known fact about the President is that he holds a black belt in judo as well as karate, having started training at the age of 12. An accomplished fighter known for his sweeping hip throw, Putin has successfully won several competitions throughout his native Russia.
He also continues to develop his skills in Greek-Roman and freestyle wrestling as he advances through the various belt levels.
