Manuel Ribamar, 25, was among the most applauded fighters at the 2018 edition of the SJJIF World Jiu-Jitsu Championship, held in late October in California.
First the Unity Jiu-Jitsu representative dominated the classical medium heavyweight division. Then, on Sunday, he came back to take down the same weight division in no-gi. Now he has over ten gold medals won just this semester, which bodes well for an athlete shooting for an IBJJF no-gi world title this December.
