Last weekend was a busy one for BJJ in America, with two open tournaments held almost simultaneously. One of them took place in Boston, Massachusetts on Saturday. The name to come out on top in the end was Keenan Cornelius. Still in the process of a comeback, the Atos fighter walked away with two gold medals.
In the heavyweight division, Keenan beat Charles Mcguire (ATT). In the absolute final he beat Gianni Grippo (Alliance), who had taken the lightweight title.
João Miyao took light featherweight gold, and Lucas Valle (Start JJ) beat the middleweight field.
