Video: Black belt open class finals ends in cramp at the IBJJF Copenhagen Open

Braulio Estima earned double gold at the 2014 IBJJF Copenhagen Open on May 3 in his gi divisions. The middleweight gold was his as well as the open weight division after an awkward final match.

In the quarterfinal he submitted his opponent with a mounted triangle-armbar and in the semi-final he defeated his opponent with a heavy dose of shoulder pressure from side control.

The final, however, was a bit odd. He swept his opponent and about two minutes into the match there was a break in the action. His opponent held his leg because it had cramped up. Not long after a decision was made that it equalled a verbal tap giving Braulio the gold.
