The armlock or armbar is a submission that aims to hyperextend the arm into compromising positions. There are two basic types of armlocks – the straight armlock and the bent armlock. The straight armlock is where you submit the opponent’s arm by straightening it and pushing it opposite the elbow joint.
At the recent Showcase MMA event in Kingsport, Tenn, Daniel Boehle submitted Dallas Manspile with a crazy unorthodox armbar on his thigh.
Daniel Boehle locked in an armbar by just throwing his legs out, pulling his opponent’s arm through, and bending it across his thigh until he secured a verbal submission.
Manspile seemed to have seriously injured his arm as a result…
