UFC Veteran Tony Ferguson’s DUI Charge Dropped – Accepts Probation for Reckless Driving

Tony Ferguson , former UFC interim lightweight champion, was arrested early Sunday for DUI in Hollywood (California) – after crashing his truck into two parked cars. And, well, the Superior Court of Los Angeles County has concluded the case with a plea agreement. The court records reveal that Ferguson’s misdemeanor DUI charge has been dismissed. In exchange, he entered a “nolo contendere plea” to a misdemeanor charge of wet reckless driving on a highway. As a consequence of this plea, Ferguson is now under a one-year probation period. The terms of this probation include the prohibition against driving after consuming any amount of alcohol and an obligation to compensate the victim. Nevertheless, Ferguson’s professional life continues to move forward. He is scheduled for a much-awaited return to the octagon on December 15, facing Paddy Pimblett at UFC 296 in Las Vegas. Ferguson has even been seen training with David Goggins – going through his dreaded “Hell Week” – which didn’t see a lot of approval by some of the MMA fans. Goggins was quick to react: When you train a person like Tony, you have to find their limit and once you find it, that is when you have to push them way beyond it. The challenge with Tony is that his limit is way the f**k out there because of his ability to handle so much pain. What you are seeing in this video is a man that has been through 4 days of a no-sh*t hell week.
