The official weigh in for the UFC Fight Night: Lawler vs. Brown took place this Friday, in San Jose California.
Two out of all competitors didn’t make weight.
Strawweight Juliana Lima was one pound over the 116lb mark and co-headliner Matt Brown was 1,5lb over the 171lb limit.
Both fighters were willing to go under a second cut in the hour they had available but the California Athletic Comission wouldn’t allow them to do it.
With that, Lima and Brown will not loose 20% of their purse and will still be eligible for bonuses of the evening after tomorow evening’s event.
